A row of four rare Taxodium ascendens is planted in a wet spot, facing the Lake.
These trees are a very precious gift of an expert Collector who grew them by seed.
They are my favorite of the three species, Taxodium distichum, ascendens and mucronatum.
You can see how elegant is its foliage.
The Taxodium distichum grove starts shifting color.
This Pinus montezumae was bought by my wife for her garden in Pallanza, together with ours.
Although they come from the same nursery, it is very different in shape.
Both lean towards the lake, even if the are on opposite shores.
