A rare meteorological situation, the Taxodium distichum grove in a snow blizzard.

Thanks to that Lake that gives back some heat, it’s rare to have frosty winters on Lago Maggiore.

Taxodium distichum in Autumn

The Taxodium distichum grove on the beach, is one of the most interesting feature of Intragnola Gardens.

In Autumn, they become copper red and start loosing the leafs.

The grove is normally flooded, but the winter 2005 was exceptionally dry.
